My Taiwan Rose is a feature motion picture project.

My Taiwan Rose follows Pierre Beaulieu, a world-renowned French chef with a fiery temper and a hit TV show in America. But when his beloved Taiwanese wife, Rose, falls into a semi-comatose state after a devastating traffic accident, Pierre is left desperate and helpless. Doctors tell him that Rose needs to be reminded of the things she loves most in order to wake up. The problem? Pierre has never truly understood the place that lives deep in her heart — Taiwan.

Determined to reach her in any way he can, Pierre embarks on a journey to Taiwan, filming a series of videos that he hopes will reignite her spirit. Lost and overwhelmed at first, he crosses paths with Jason, a charismatic taxi driver with dreams of becoming a chef. Seeing Pierre struggle, Jason makes him an offer: teach him the secrets of being a TV chef, and in return, Jason will take him on a whirlwind tour of Taiwan’s rich and diverse food culture.

As they travel across the island — exploring night markets, temples, bustling cities, and breathtaking landscapes —Pierre’s icy exterior begins to melt. Through food, he starts to understand not only Taiwan but also the heart of the woman he loves. What starts as a desperate mission becomes a journey of self-discovery, friendship, and transformation.
